The Wesley coffee shop is run in partnership with the Wesley Methodist Church and Innovate Trust. It is a social enterprise that delivers realistic vocational workplace training to adults with mental health difficulties, in a supportive and friendly environment.
The coffee shop is open from Monday to Friday and has a steady flow of customers, peaking at lunchtime. This gives people who have been excluded from the active labour market a fantastic opportunity to gain confidence, learn and practice new skills, and to develop new social networks. The cafe serves a range of hot and cold drinks, snacks, main meals and a selection of cakes and desserts. It also has comfortable and relaxing meeting rooms that are available for hire at very reasonable rates (catering can be supplied for any meetings that are held).
